The history of Rue des Mille begins in 1985, in La Spezia. The company was born as a family production of wholesale gold, then specialized in silver in 2009. With sacrifice, intuition and passion, it manages to respond to market needs and create new creative languages.
The name “Rue des Mille” refers to the Via dei Mille, where it all began: the first wholesale business in La Spezia was located there. And the “R” in the logo, written in italics, is a tribute to the name and handwriting of father Roberto. When he passed away in 2013, his great ambition was to root the family talent in a brand with a strong and recognizable identity. So in 2016 the three siblings Federica, Tommaso and Giacomo revolutionized their lives and continued the work started by their father and until then skilfully guided by their mother and their uncle.
The new line-up sees Federica in charge of marketing and communications, Tommaso of creative direction and Giacomo of commercial development. Their multifaceted talents create a synergy capable of mixing artisan tradition and contemporary design, alongside a careful study of local and international distribution. Rue des Mille currently has four single-brand stores, a network of 500 multi-brand stores and distribution in Eastern Europe. So the dream becomes reality. Or rather, an ever-growing reality.
